Melissa Johnson

Melissa has been an integral member of Heartland Plastic Surgery since 2008. She began her career in the operating room caring for our patients before, during, and after their surgeries. Working alongside Dr. Cherny, Melissa gained education to transition from the OR to facial aesthetics.

As a nurse injector she combines her knowledge of facial anatomy, clinical expertise and caring nature to achieve a natural looking result. Her experience involves the administration of Neurotoxins (i.e. Botox/Dysport) and injectable fillers, such as Juvederm, Voluma and Restylane Lyft.

Aside from facial aesthetics, Melissa also performs body contouring with the use of CoolSculpting, a non-surgical fat reduction procedure.

Melissa’s focus is helping patients reach their aesthetic goals while providing safe and realistic expectations.
